Morgan City council to meet today
MORGAN CITY — The City Council will meet at 6 p.m. today at the City Court Building.
The agenda includes the first reading of an ordinance to approve the final form of a power project revenue bond and resolution.
Also on the agenda is a resolution for surplus garbage dumpsters, appointment of an assistant city attorney, a resolution to approve the finance committee’s recommendations, and a condemnation report of a cinder-block structure in the 400 block of Levee Road.
Guests on the agenda include Hoodstock members, Clarence Robinson for Prostate Awareness Screening, Kenny Duval for the Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Drive, Terry Guarisco, Community Prayer Day, and Angling Against Autism.
The ordinance up for a first reading is to ratify the final form of the power sales contract between the city and the Louisiana Energy and Power Authority and to approve the final form of the Power Project Revenue Bond Resolution.
