The Lady Eagles defeated defending state champs Cedar Creek 6-4 at the Louisiana High School Athletic Association State Championship Tournament in Sulphur. They defeated Ascension Catholic on Friday and Catholic High-Pointe Coupee earlier Saturday, both close games ended with a score of 1-0. Landry had complete games in each of the contests. Central Catholic High School standout softball pitcher Megan Landry signed a National Letter of Intent with Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. It’s been quite a couple days for Central Catholic standout Megan Landry.
Central Catholic pitching ace Megan Landry threw a one-hitter in the team’s 15-0 playoff win against Logansport on Tuesday. Landry only allowed one hit and one walk in the four-inning game. The Lady Eagles advance to the second round on Thursday playing host to False River at 3 p.m.
