Man on St. Mary Parish's Most Wanted list arrested
FRANKLIN, La. -- Franklin Police have arrested a man who had been featured in The Daily Review’s Most Wanted story since September. Terrell J. Jackson, 26, of Alexander Lane in Franklin, was arrested at 10:34 p.m. Wednesday on Talbot Street in Franklin.
Jackson was arrested on warrants charging him with armed robbery with use of a firearm, armed robbery, theft and resisting an officer by flight. Jackson was also processed on a warrant issued by 16th Judicial District Court, charging him with failure to appear on the charge of angling without a license. Jackson was jailed and held with no bail set and is to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
The Daily Review’s most wanted article published Friday assisted in leading to Jackson’s arrest, according to Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire. Franklin police received an anonymous tip regarding Jackson’s whereabouts that led to his arrest, which was one of several calls Franklin police received pertaining to the case.
McGuire said she appreciates the public’s help in finding Jackson.
Jackson was arrested with Jordan Dionysos McDaniel, 19, of Gumpoint Lane in Franklin and Iesha Patrice Davis, 21, of Cayce Street in Franklin.
McDaniel was arrested at 10:34 p.m. Wednesday on warrants issued by 16th Judicial District Court, and charged with two counts for failure to appear for drug court.
McDaniel was jailed and held on a $200,000 bail to appear in 16th Judicial District Court.
Davis was arrested at 10:38 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant dated Sept. 8 charging her with disturbing the peace fighting. Davis was jailed and held on a $250 bail to appear in 3rd ward city court.
