Man, 61, Arrested for Growing Marijuana
VERMILION PARISH -- Louisiana State Police detectives assisted by the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Task Force arrested an Erath man for growing marijuana plants, stated a State Police news release.
Earlier this week, detectives received information which indicated that 61-year-old Terry Lambert of Erath was growing marijuana at his home in Erath, the news release stated. After receiving the information, detectives went to Lambert’s home in the 6000 block of Aristide Road in Erath. Detectives were able to locate and seize over 30 marijuana plants as well as processed marijuana, the news release stated.
Lambert was arrested without incident and booked into the Vermilion Parish Jail for cultivation of marijuana and possession of marijuana, the news release stated.
