Mable Giroir Hebert
Mable Giroir Hebert, 80, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at the Morgan City Healthcare Center.
Mable was born on May 25, 1931, in Morgan City, the daughter of Eddie and Eline Comeaux Giroir.
Mable was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Yvonne LeBlanc and husband Herbert of Morgan City, and Gale Percle of Morgan City; five grandchildren, Lisa Goulas and husband Scott, Kevin LeBlanc and wife Jenifer, Christie Mayon and husband Bryan, Kimberly Arceneaux and husband Brandon, and Priscilla Percle; eight great-grandchildren, Hailey, Cailey and Ashley Goulas, Beau LeBlanc, Dylan, Cayla and Allie Mayon, and Mary Grace Arceneaux. Mable is also survived by one sister, Anna Belle Fontenot and husband Carol; one brother, Gilbert Giroir; a brother-in-law, Ivan Hebert and wife Carrie; a sister-in-law, Audrey Hebert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Giroir and Eline Comeaux Giroir; her husband, Uric Hebert; and a son-in-law, Earl Percle Jr.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City with a Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume at 8 a.m. until the time of Mass on Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Mable will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kevin LeBlanc, Scott Goulas, Bryan Mayon, Brandon Arceneaux, Dylan Mayon, Carol Fontenot and Donald Hebert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Herbert LeBlanc and Ivan Hebert.
