Guest speakers at Berwick Elementary School

Hollyn and Mark Chellette are local creators of BeaZell’s Cajun Seasoning. They were guest speakers for Louisiana Week at Berwick Elementary. The students learned that Mark Chellette would cook with his grandmother every Sunday, where his love for Cajun cooking began. He also labeled his first seasoning with hot pink duct tape. Fallen Warriors Memorial donation

A Fallen Warriors Memorial Fundraising Banquet was held May 22 at the Petroleum Club in Morgan City. Morgan City Junior High School students treated to theater visit

Morgan City Junior High School sent 260 students to the movies May 16 for having good behavior for the entire year. The reward is part of the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Program. Darlene Toups of Lake Cinema hosted the class and the Morgan City Police Department provided escort from the school.
