Lee Delaune, executive director of the Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival, died Saturday, according to a news release from Nathalie Weber, president of the festival.

Alzheimer fundraiser

Courtney Carrere, representing the Bayou Walk to End Alzheimer, spoke about the 2014 Bayou Walk to End Alzheimer planned Saturday during a meeting of the East St. Mary Kiwanis Club.
