History class at Berwick Junior High School

Danielle Pisani’s seventh grade American History class at Berwick Junior High recently conducted research on famous Americans. At the conclusion of the research, students were able to dress the part and present their findings. Students chose an array of famous Americans, including Richard Nixon, Clara Barton, Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Amelia Earhart, Mahalia Jackson and Walt Disney.

Superior Safety Solutions ribbon-cutting ceremony

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Tuesday for Superior Safety Solutions, 3295 First St., Berwick. Among those present were, back row, St. Mary Chamber of Commerce representatives Donald Stephens, Clifton Couture and Betty Fraley. Front row, are Ryleigh Charpentier, Edie Nezat, chamber ambassador; Lisa Patterson, chamber marketing director and office manager; O’Neil Darden, chamber board member; Frank Randazzo III, vice president of operations; Andy Lanclos, chief executive officer; Tyler Businelle, chief operating officer; Jarod Longman, chamber assessor; and board members Herman Hartman and Emily Berry.
