Police issue alert on vending machine thefts

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is investigating two burglaries of vending machines located outside of the Centerville Market on La. 182. The incidents occurred Dec. 28 at approximately 9 p.m. and Jan. 6 at approximately 12:00 a.m. Both of the crimes were caught on video surveillance. Detectives are seeking information on the identity of the suspects and the two suspect vehicles. Anyone who believes they may recognize the suspects or the vehicles they used in the commission of the crime may contact us at 337-828-1960 or 985-384-1622.
