Industrial Road to provide oilfield trucks alternate route

Officials broke ground Wednesday on a project to build a road that will give oilfield non-hazardous waste trucks an alternate route so they do not have travel through residential areas.

Petite Tour du Teche, kayak races for youths 5 to 17, will be held in Bayou Teche at Parc des Ponts in Breaux Bridge Saturday, Aug. 2.
