December begins with a warm spell

The Confraternity of Our Lady Star of the Sea gathers Monday on Brashear Avenue with prayers to begin the annual Novena of Thanksgiving to Our Lady Star of the Sea for her protection during the past hurricane season. Monday marked the official close of the six-month Atlantic hurricane season.
