Power outage

A thunderstorm Friday morning led to limbs falling on power lines near the Atchafalaya River and about a 90-minute power outage in parts of Morgan City. Crews repaired the power lines that were fallen when limbs from this tree fell behind apartments on First Street near Conrad Industries. Around noon and about the time those lines were repaired, a utility crew arrived to cut down limbs around a power line on Belanger Street.
