CENTERVILLE — St. Mary District 3 principals pleaded their case Monday to the school board’s maintenance committee for new projects during a budget workshop at the Central Office Complex.

Sheriff’s scholarship awarded

Sheriff’s Office Major Scott Anslum presented the Louisiana Sheriff’s Scholarship Program scholarship to Kaeley Paige Hill on Monday at Berwick High School’s award ceremony held at the Berwick Civic Center.

Sheriff Mark Hebert has announced that Kaeley Paige Hill has been named the recipient of an academic scholarship from the Louisiana Sheriff’s Scholarship Program for the 2015-2016 school year.

Main Street buildings eligible for state redevelopment grants

Morgan City officials will accept state grant applications until June 15 to improve historic buildings in the downtown Main Street District. Grant applications are available from the receptionist at City Hall, located at 512 First Street, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. (The Daily Review/Crystal Thielepape)
