Scholarship honors slain Franklin student

A check for $2,050 was presented to the LSUE Foundation’s Mayci Breaux Memorial Scholarship by a delegation from Delgado Community College in New Orleans on Friday. The scholarship is in honor of Breaux, a first-year radiologic technology student at LSUE who was killed in the July mass shooting at the Grand 16 Lafayette movie theater. Berwick council helps with heaters
