Cooling off in Bayou Vista

Memorial to former pastor dedicated

Word of Life Family Church held a ceremony Sunday afternoon to dedicate a memorial in front of the church to the late Rev. Richard “Lee” Lamury, the church’s founder who passed away in December. Multiple family members as well as friends spoke during a ceremony. Above, the church’s current senior pastor, the Rev. Mark Gowan, says a prayer by the memorial.
