Industrial Road to provide oilfield trucks alternate route

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on the Industrial Road Project at the south end of Federal Avenue and the floodwall in Morgan City. Officials broke ground Wednesday on a project to build a road that will give oilfield non-hazardous waste trucks an alternate route so they do not have travel through residential areas.
