Louisiana Week at Berwick Elementary

While celebrating Louisiana Week at Berwick Elementary, the students participated in many activities throughout the week. Angela Deville, district administrative coordinator for St. Mary Water Conservation District, and Shelia Bonvillian, earth team volunteer, presented their “Dig Deep” presentation to the students. Test piles driven at emergency center site groundbreaking set for late July

Workers were driving test pilings Wednesday at the new Government and Emergency Operations Center in Morgan City. The center is expected to be in operation by the 2015 hurricane season.
