Perri presented Scholarship

Each year M C Bank presents a $1,500 scholarship to one senior at each of the four area high schools. The intention behind this award is to recognize students who have been active in their school and communities. Larry J. Callais, right, M C Bank’s president and CEO presented this year’s Morgan City High School “Hometown Spirit Scholarship” to Nicole Perri. She plans to attend University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She has a strong interest in graphic design.

Port of Morgan City executive director speaks to Kiwanis Club

Raymond “Mac” Wade, executive director of the Morgan City Harbor and Terminal District, was a guest speaker at a recent Kiwanis Club meeting held at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City. Wade spoke about the new Emergency Operations Center, the new tenants for the Port and other Port of Morgan City activities.
