Jammin’ at the Gallery showcases parish gifted and talented students

St. Mary Parish students ranging from elementary to high school performed monologues, songs and poetry at Saturday’s Jammin’ at the Gallery event outside of the Everett Street Gallery.

The H&B Young Foundation donated about five acres of land for the construction of a $3.7 million Marine Training Center facility at Young Memorial Campus. The donation, worth about $475,000, will satisfy the 12 percent matching funds requirement to get state funding.
