New power plant set to open Feb. 17

Conservation district seeks input from parish residents

Representatives of the St. Mary Soil and Water Conservation District attended the annual Louisiana Association of Conservation Districts conference in Lafayette recently. Commissioner of Agriculture Mike Strain addressed the group at The Master Farmer Luncheon. Strain will be speaking this summer at the local district’s annual banquet.
