Storm closures

Closures for St. Mary Parish:
—St. Mary Parish public, private and parochial schools are closed today and Wednesday. St. Mary Parish Superintendent of Schools Donald Aguillard said with the possibility of ice remaining on the roads, he will make a decision regarding a Thursday closure on Wednesday.
—Morgan City, Berwick, Patterson and St. Mary Parish governmental offices will be closed today and Wednesday.
—The Young Memorial Campus of South Central Louisiana Technical College is closed today. Students are urged to watch the system’s website for changes.
—Community Action Agency and Head Start in St. Mary and Vermillion parishes are closed today and Wednesday, tentatively to be reopened at 8 a.m. Thursday.
—Nicholls State University officials announced that all classes and events scheduled for today and Wednesday have been canceled. The campus will be closed until conditions improve. Classes and events scheduled for the afternoon and evening today will continue as scheduled. Residence halls will remain open and food service will be available. Students may communicate with their professors regarding specific class assignments on Moodle.
—University of Louisiana at Lafayette is closed today. Residence halls are staffed and secured for students. Two on-campus dining options will be open today. University essential personnel should contact their supervisors for further instructions. If further closure is warranted, a decision and notification will be made by 4 p.m. today. For official updates, monitor the University’s hotline 337-482-2222, official university social media or the university website.
—The Patterson Planning and Zoning Commission meeting scheduled for Wednesday has been cancelled.
—The Harold J. “Babe” Landry Landfill will be closed today and Wednesday. Progressive Waste will not run routes on those days.
—The civil offices of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office will be closed today and Wednesday.
—Cases in 16th Judicial District Court will not be held today and Wednesday and offices associated with the district attorney and courts will be closed. Defendants and their attorneys with cases scheduled those two days will have their court dates rescheduled and notices will be mailed out to them regarding the rescheduled date.
—Morgan City City Court will be closed today and Wednesday.
—All branches of the St. May Parish Library will be closed today and Wednesday. The library should resume regular hours on Thursday if the weather and road conditions permit. Call local branches for updates.
—Cleco is closing its customer service offices in Pineville, Opelousas, New Iberia, Eunice, Crowley, Franklin, Mandeville, Slidell and Covington today. Cleco will make a decision at a later time regarding the status of these offices for Wednesday.
—Patterson State Bank’s offices will be closed today. Driveup tellers will reopen at 1 pm. Wednesday, weather permitting.
—All M C Bank branches will be closed all day today and reopen at noon Wednesday. If the schedule needs to be adjusted due to weather conditions, the bank will post any updates on its website. As long as there are no power issues, ATMs will be available.
—The Daily Review office will close at 3 p.m. today.
Other closings:
—Fletcher Technical Community College’s campuses will be closed today. Updates on further closing dates will be available via Fletcher’s website, Fletcher’s Facebook page and via email communications.
—Assumption Parish Schools will be closed today and Wednesday. The Assumption Parish school board superintendent will be meeting with state and parish officials on Wednesday to determine if schools will reopen on Thursday.
—St. Martin Parish Schools will be closed today and Wednesday. The superintendent will determine whether to open Thursday. Changes will be posted on the district’s website.
