Registration upcoming for art walk, summer program

Registration for The Bayou Beaux Arts and Dance Summer Arts Program will begin Feb. 3 in the Office of Community Development at Franklin City Hall.
Registration will end May 2 at 12 p.m.
The dance portion of the program with instructor LaDaisha Bowles is open to students 6-18 years old and to adults 18 and older.
The art portion of the program is open to students 13 years old and older. Instructors for the art portion of the program are Jon Eenigenburg (drawing), Laura Zuniga (acrylics) and Catherine Siracusa (encaustics).

The Bayou Beaux Arts and Dance Summer Arts Program is supported by a Community Partnership Grant from the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and Foundation, Inc.
Also, the City of Franklin Main Street Program will host the Fifth Annual Promenade d’art de Franklin (Franklin Art Walk) on Main Street Aug. 23 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Registration will open May 5 and end July 25 at noon.
