Motorcade helps kick off week of Red Ribbon activities

Bayou Vista Elementary School students in Marita Voisin and Cindy Chaisson’s fifth-grade physical education classes decorated shopping bags for grocery stores Thursday in preparation for the first day of Red Ribbon Week. The slogan for the first day of Red Ribbon Week is “Decoration Day.” From left, Kevin Hannigan, Riley Dubois, Jackson Mayea and Robert Breaux decorate grocery bags revolving around this year’s current theme, “Keep your balance, don’t waste your talents, be drug free.”
