Franklin’s ‘Bayou Beaux’ registration period set
Interested persons can register for the City of Franklin’s Bayou Beaux Art and Dance summer Arts Program in person at City Hall or by sending an email to email@example.com.
Once a request is received the registrant will receive an email with the instructions to complete the registration for the program, Office of Development Director Arlana Shields said. Submit registration as soon as possible. After the registration is processed, individuals will receive an email stating whether they have been enrolled or placed on the waiting list. Registrations will be processed according to the date and time stamp on the email. Email and in-person registration will end at 12 p.m. on Friday, May 2.
Parents or guardians should submit the registrations for their children. Adults should register themselves. To participate in the art classes, attendees must be at least 13 years old. Children must be at least 6 years old to be a part of the dance program. Additionally, there is a dance class for adults 18 and older, which takes place one day per week.
Classes are as follows: Drawing, June 7 and 14 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at City Hall; Acrylics, June 25, 26, 27 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at City Hall; Encaustics, July 9, 10, 11 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the City Park Recreation Center and Dance, June-July at Broussard-Harris Recreation Center.
