The MCUSBCWBA Championship Bowling Tournament was held March 17 and 18 at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City with the following results.

Teams: first place, Gutter Gals 2566 (members Judith Blood, Tanya Gray, Robin Burkhardt, Rosie Fournier); second place, Charlie’s Lanes 2518.

Doubles: first, Geneva Parker and Beverly Mayon 1370; second, Michele LaCombe and Pam Hensgens 1319; third, Myrna Vinning and Janna Landeta 1300.

Singles: first (tie), Beverly Mayon 700 and Cathy Daigle 700; third, Lona Thourot 691; fourth, Robin Burkhardt 687; fifth, Suzanne Lipari 670; and sixth, Evelyn Gros 653.

All-events handicap: tournament champion Beverly Mayon 2127; second, Robin Burkhardt 2015; third, Lona Thourot 1956.

All-events scratch: city champion Pam Hensgens 1796; second, Beverly Mayon 1794; third, Michele LaCombe 1699.
