LaQUETA BOGAN RAFFRAY

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Verdunville for LaQueta Bogan Raffray, 79, a native of Verdunville and longtime resident of Algiers, who passed away Easter morning, March 31, 2013, at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 8 a.m. Fr. Thomas Vu will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Monica Bogan Phillips and her husband, Joe, of Franklin; nine siblings, Theo C. Bogan of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Aline B. Paul of Verdunville; Carmencita Bogan of Verdunville; Ruth Bogan of Verdunville; Wayne Bogan of Verdunville; Kendall Bogan of Verdunville; Mark Bogan of Verdunville; Gene Bogan of Houston, Texas; and Shiri Bogan of Hollywood, California; two grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Raffray; her parents, Theodore James Bogan and Gladys Verdun Bogan; four siblings, Ray Bogan, McDonald Bogan, Greta Bogan and Bert Bogan.
Serving as pallbearers will be Micah Baker, Jude Franklin, Tyra Yarber, Ashton Bogan, Colin Jefferson, Phillip Jefferson, Tommy Morgan Jr. and Blake Bogan.
