Josephine A. Duval
February 17, 1927 — July 28, 2011
The Angels took another Angel home to Heaven. Josephine A. Duval, a resident of Morgan City, born in Four Mile Bayou, passed away at the age of 84, Thursday, July 28, 2011.
Josephine was Catholic by faith and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Josephine is survived by her two sons, Louis J. Duval of Stephensville, and A.J. Duval Jr. of Merced, Calif.; and her two brothers, Victor “Jake” Daigle of Bayou Vista, and Louis “Batiste” Daigle of Morgan City. Josephine is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Duval; her son, Steve A. Duval; her parents, Louis and Alcedee Aucoin Daigle; her brothers, William, V.A., Nelson and Joseph Daigle; and her sisters, Mary Hebert, Victorine Bailey and Elma Blanchard.
Visitation will be Monday August 1, 2011, at Hargrave Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church beginning at 11 a.m. Josephine will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Neal Duval, Jeremy Duval, Ben Duval, Paul Lacoste Jr., Barry Menard, and Louis J. Duval.
