Joseph “Polk Chop” Gray Sr., 64, a native and a resident of Patterson, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 11:20 p.m., at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, at Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson.

Joseph “Polk Chop” leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Deborah Ann Butler Gray of Patterson; three sons, Joseph Gray Jr., of Carencro, Edward Butler and Grady Gray, both of Patterson; three daughters, Paula Pierre, Teneka Thomas and Anisha Butler, all of Patterson; three brothers, Rogers Gray Jr., Ronald Gray and Melvin Gray, all of Patterson; 14 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of relatives and friends.
