Jan. 19, 1945 – May 25, 2012

Funeral services were held Monday, May 28, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin for James Gordon Dry, 67, a native and former resident of Franklin and a resident of Baldwin for the past 46 years, who passed away Friday, May 25, 2012, at Capital House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Baton Rouge. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Baldwin.

Survivors include one brother, Joseph C. Dry Jr. of Baldwin; one sister, Jane Katherine Dry, MD of Houma; and two aunts, Martha Chapron Boudreaux and Lettie Arboneaux Chapron, both of Baldwin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Clinton Dry Sr. and Yvette Chapron Dry.

A gathering of family and friends was held Monday at Ibert’s Mortuary from 11a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m.
