Patterson homecoming court, royalty recognized

Jordan Joseph Butler, son of Pamela Simmons and Murphy Butler, was named Patterson High School homecoming king Oct. 29 during the homecoming dance. Desiree Nicole Jones, daughter of Celeste and Donald Jones, was crowned homecoming queen during halftime of the Oct. 28 football game.

Patterson looking to win third straight Friday

The Patterson Lumberjacks look to win their third straight contest when they host North Vermilion in District 8-3A action Friday.

CCHS to host Gueydan for homecoming

Central Catholic's Chris Singleton carries the football during last week's contest. Singleton has rushed for more than a combined 300 yards and scored six touchdowns in the last two weeks since returning from an injury. Central Catholic will continue District 7-1A play Friday when it hosts Gueydan for homecoming.

Central Catholic will host Gueydan High School in a District 7-1A contest Friday that also is the Eagles’ homecoming game.
