HMS plays tonight; Franklin, West St. Mary battle Friday

Hanson Memorial opens district 8-A action tonight while the Franklin Hornets will celebrate homecoming and the West St. Mary Wolfpack open District 6-2A action on Friday in high school football action.

The Hanson Memorial Tigers will play host to the Vermilion Catholic Eagles in District 8-A action tonight at McCloskey Field.

The Franklin Senior High School Hornets will host the Morgan City Tigers for Homecoming on Friday in non-district action at J. C. Dry Stadium on Friday.

The West St. Mary Wolfpack will take to the road to face the Loreauville Tigers on Friday in the District 6-2A opener on Friday at 7 p.m.

The Hanson Memorial Tigers will play host to the Vermilion Catholic Eagles in the District 8-A opener tonight at 7 at McCloskey Field.

Hanson (2-3) opens district play tonight against Vermilion Catholic in its second of three Thursday night contests. Earlier the Hanson Tigers nipped the Delcambre Panthers 28-26 on a Thursday night.

HMS enters tonight’s contest after coming off of last week’s setback at the hands of the Basile Bobcats.

Franklin High plays host to intra-parish rival Morgan City for Homecoming on Friday at 7 at J. C. Dry Stadium.

Franklin (2-3) renews it longtime rivalry with Morgan City of several years on Friday with St. Mary Parish bragging rights on the line.

Franklin hosts Morgan City on Friday at 7 in non-district action.

Franklin came up on the short end of a 6-0 District 9-3A loss to the North Vermilion Patriots last week.

Franklin (2-3, 0-2) will battle the Morgan City Tigers on Friday in non-district action at J. C. Dry Stadium.

WEST ST. MARY

AT LOREAUVILLE

The West St. Mary Wolfpack will travel to battle the Loreauville Tigers in the District 6-2A opener on Friday at 7 p.m.

West St. Mary (0-5) looks for its first win in a tough District 6-2A battle against the Loreauville Tigers.

West St. Mary hopes to open league play by earning its first win of the season on Friday against the perennial power Loreauville in the District 6-2A opener.
