Central Catholic will look to continue its playoff run as Class 1A’s top-ranked team when it makes a four-plus hour road trip to Ruston to face No. 9 Cedar Creek Thursday at 6 p.m.

Morgan City's Toups inks with Louisiana College

Central Catholic overcomes two-day rain delay to beat Grand Lake

Central Catholic High School advanced to the Class 1A quarterfinals Monday with a 5-3 win against No. 16 Grand Lake at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. LAFAYETTE — Central Catholic successfully weathered a two-day delay due to storms and navigated through Grand Lake en route to the Class 1A baseball quarterfinals.
