New high school soccer power rankings released

The Morgan City Tigers’ and Lady Tigers’ soccer teams both slipped in the latest unofficial Louisiana High School Athletic Association Division II power rankings released Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers slipped two spots in the latest rankings to No. 11, while the Lady Tigers also fell two spots to No. 21. The Morgan City Tigers fell to the E.D. White Cardinals in a battle of top 10 teams in Morgan City Tuesday. The Cardinals edged the Tigers, 1-0, scoring the match’s only points in the second half.
