Central Catholic will open 1A postseason against Ascension Christian

Central Catholic High School, the No. 12 seed in the Class 1A playoffs, will begin
postseason play today when it hosts No. 21 Ascension Christian in first-round
action at the Bayou Vista Community Center. Central Catholic enters the
matchup with a 15-12 overall mark, while Ascension Christian is 7-11 overall.

MCHS, Assumption to meet in first round

Morgan City High School and Assumption High School will square off for the third time this season when they meet in Class 4A first-round playoff action today at 5 p.m. in Morgan City. Berwick falls to Pine Prairie, 6-0
