Morgan City will conclude season Friday against Assumption

The Morgan City High School Tigers will close their 2014 football season Friday when they host the Assumption Mustangs.

CCHS advances to 2nd round with sweep of West St. John

Central Catholic High School won its first-round playoff game against West St. John Wednesday 3-0 (25-23, 25-7, 25-19) in first-round Division V volleyball playoff action. The win was the Lady Eagles’ third against West St. John as Central Catholic swept the regular season matchup with their district foes. Central Catholic will return to action Monday at 6 p.m. in the second round action when it faces Ascension Catholic, who received a first-round bye.
