BAYOU VISTA — Central Catholic outlasted False River, 2-0, in the second-round of the Class 1A playoffs Thursday behind Megan Landry’s 12-strikeout gem to advance to the quarterfinals in Sulphur.
Bastrop traveled nearly six hours on a school bus only to find out that Morgan City had pushed Thursday’s second-round playoff game back an hour to 6 p.m.
Central Catholic High School standout softball pitcher Megan Landry signed a National Letter of Intent with Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. It’s been quite a couple days for Central Catholic standout Megan Landry.
