Berwick, Patterson compete at district meet

The Berwick and Patterson high school track teams competed in District 9-3A action at Franklin High Thursday. The Lady Panthers placed second and the while the Panthers were third. The Lumberjacks were fourth, and the Lumberjills were fifth. Additionally, Berwick’s Ashton Morales and Corrinne Benandi were named Outstanding Performer and Field MVP, respectively, while Patterson’s Daylon Charlot was named boys’ Field MVP. The Patterson High School baseball team made history Friday as the school set a record for most wins in a season with 19, according to coach Ryan Jensen.
