Jones, Valdez lead Berwick to 6th-place finish

Hanson Tigers stage comeback victory over Hornets

HANSON’S BO BARRILLEAUX greets Britt Young with a celebratory leap at the end of Friday’s comeback victory. Young lined the game-winning double which gave the Hanson Tigers a 6-5 victory over the Catholic High School of Point Coupee Hornets Friday at Amar Lancon Field. Hanson earned a spot in the State Class A semifinals against the Central Catholic of Morgan City Eaglest Friday at 5 p.m. in Sulphur.
