Patterson coach Ryan Taylor and members of his team celebrate after Tuesday’s home overtime victory against district front-runner Donaldonsville, 63-61. The win came after the Lumberjacks had earlier this season lost a close 44-43 game to the Tigers in Donaldonsville which snapped a long district win streak. Tuesday’s contest also was a matchup of Top 10 teams in Class 3A as Donaldsonville entered the contest ranked No. 7 in the latest unofficial Class 3A power rankings, while Patterson was No. 9.
