Patterson will have an early tuneup as it will face Thibodaux at 7 p.m. Friday in the Louisiana High School Coaches Association Officials Clinic at E.D. White at 7 p.m. On Aug. 21, Patterson will host St. James in a 5:30 p.m. scrimmage. Patterson will meet Morgan City at the Morgan City High School Jamboree Aug. 29 at 8 p.m. before opening its regular season Sept. 5 at home vs. Brother Martin. Above is action from Monday’s practice. Morgan City High School athletes volunteer at Maison Jardin

Maison Jardin had a carnival for residents on July 10, and Morgan City High School athletes volunteered at the event as part of the community service program that new head football coach/athletic director Scott Tregle instituted for male athletes. The athletes passed out snowballs, cotton candy, pretzels and played games with the residents. (Submitted Photo/Courtesy of Scott Tregle)
