CCHS wins in four games

The Central Catholic Lady Eagles knocked off the Ascension Christian Lions 3-1 (27-25, 19-25, 25-13, 25-15) in first-round Division V playoff action Thursday in Morgan City.

Lusher Charter upsets Berwick

No. 18 Lusher Charter pulled off a mild upset against No. 15 Berwick High 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-13) in the first round of the Division III playoffs in Berwick Thursday.

Panthers fall to North Vermilion

The injury bug struck Berwick Thursday night but the Panthers fought through it and kept themselves in their District 8-3A finale with North Vermilion.

'Jacks clinch 9-3A title
