No. 12 Berwick High School fell to No. 5 Rayne High School 3-0 (26-28, 25-27, 16-25) in Division III Second-Round volleyball playoff action Monday in Rayne. The No. 10 seed Central Catholic Lady Eagles advanced to the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner after upsetting No. 7 seed Ascension Catholic on the road Monday in Division V second-round volleyball action. The Lady Eagles won the contest 3-1 (25-21, 25-11, 13-25, 25-19). Berwick High School concluded its season with a 50-14 loss to E.D. White in Thibodaux Friday. The Panthers finished the with a 2-8 mark, including a 1-3 record in District 9-3A action.
