Lumberjills beat South Terrebonne, 48-38

The Patterson Lumberjills defeated South Terrebonne on the road Monday, 48-38.
The Lumberjills’ Nakia Brooks led the way scoring 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Kemprielle Williams added eight points and four steals while Galen Grogan had eight points, 10 rebounds and three blocks.
Other contributors included Jazmin Evans, four points; Nia Broussard, two points; Nyla Holder, two points; Erykah Singleton, two points; Makayla Ruiz, two points; and Jamila Tate, one point and five rebounds.
The Berwick Lady Panthers lost on the road Monday to Covenant Christian, 34-18.
Covenant Christian jumped out to a 14-7 lead at halftime before extending the lead in the second half. Scorers for the Lady Panthers included Mickenzie Reed, six points; Jenna Beiza, four points; Kayla Francise, four points; Brittany Boudreaux, three points; and McKenzie Baumgartner, one point.
The Berwick Panthers fell to Covenant Christian, 52-36, Monday after being down 29-23 at halftime. Berwick’s Audwin Williams scored 16 points while Tyvon Batiste added 12 points. Other scorers were Brandon Naverro, five points; Cody Roberie, two points; and Tre’ Matthews, one point.
Today's Central Catholic boys' basketball game against H.L. Bourgeois will be broadcast on KBZE 105.9 radio station starting at 6:15 p.m.
