Hornets top Tigers

Landon LeMay scored a pair of touchdowns, leading the Catholic High of Point Coupee Hornets to a 28-13 win over the Hanson Memorial Tigers Friday in the first-round Division IV playoffs at McCloskey Field.
LeMay led the way for the Hornets with 317 yards on 31 carries.
Hanson’s Jeff Soulis led the way for the Tigers with 98 yards on the night.
Bo Barrilleaux, who completed 20 of 32 passes on the night, scored on a quarterback sneak before firing a pass to Beau LeBlanc for a score to cap the scoring for the Tigers.
LeMay and Connor Meche scored a pair of touchdowns to lead the Hornets.
Hanson finished the season with a 6-5 overall record including a 4-2 District 7-1A mark.
