Nov. 16, 1933 ~ June 23, 2013

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin for Mrs. Helen Ann Caro Louviere, 79, with Father Lloyd Benoit officiating. Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.

Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who lived life to the fullest. She had a smile that could brighten the darkest day and a laugh that would fill the room. Dancing was one of her favorite pastimes. You could bet that if there was a gathering or special occasion she was the center of the attention. She was also a woman of faith, attending Mass regularly and praying the rosary often. When her health declined and she was unable to attend Mass, she would watch the Mass on TV.

Following a lengthy illness, Helen finally succumbed, receiving her wish (and blessing), and passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at 6:27 a.m., with her family by her side. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her wonderful and loving husband of 60 years, Harold A. “Neg” Louviere of Franklin; six children, Shane G. Louviere and his wife, Linda, of Abbeville; Tana L. St. Germain and her husband, David “Easy,” of Franklin; Jamie L. Chauvin and her husband, Jimmy, of Franklin; Race G. Louviere of Houston, Texas; Heidi L. Arboneaux and her husband, David, of Franklin; and Dirk

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, June 25, at Ibert’s Mortuary from 10 a.m. until time of dismissal at 1:30 p.m., with the rosary being prayed at 1 p.m., followed by the eulogy.
