Hanson Tigers win over ACHS Bulldogs
DONALDSON _ The Hanson Tigers defeated the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs by a score of 10-4 here Saturday at the ACHS Field.
Hanson’s Jacob Hebert notched the mound victory with help from relievers Kade James and Payton Kellebrew. Hebert tossed four innings, allowing four runs on six hits with three strikeouts and four walks. James worked two scoreless innings, allowing one hits with three strikeouts and no walks. Kellebrew worked the final inning, fanning one batter while not allowing a run nor a hit.
Hanson erupted for six runs in the top half of the third inning for a 6-0 advantage. The Tigers extended a 6-2 lead to 8-2 with two runs in the top half of the fourth frame. Hanson struck for two additional runs in the top of the sixth inning to coast to the 10-4 victory.
Leading hitters for the Tigers were: Bo Barrilleaux, 1 for 3, run; Drake Businelle, 2 for 5, run; Cameron Stovall, 2 for 4, triple, double, 2 RBI, 2 runs; Garrett Burns, 2 for 4, 3 runs, 2 RBI; Jacob Hebert, 1 for 1; Josh Sanchez, 1 for 2, double, run, 2 RBI; Brandon Bonin, 2 RBI and Payton Kellebrew, 1 for 3, RBI.\
Hanson will play host to the Berwick Panthers tonight at 6 p.m.
