Hanson Lady Tigers hammer Loreauville
Hanson Memorial Lady Tigers got a two-hit shutout from Emily Champagne to pound the Loreauville Lady Tigers 14-0 Monday at the HMS Girls Softball Complex.
Champagne walked one and struck out six in four innings.
The Hanson Lady Tigers scored 14 runs on 12 hits on the day.

The Hanson Lady Tigers dominated from the first inning, collecting three runs for a 3-0 advantage. HMS tallied four runs in the second frame and duplicated that effort with four more in the third stanza, building an insurmountable 11-0 cushion. In the bottom of the fourth inning, the HMS Lady Tigers struck for three additional runs in a game that was called after four innings because of the 10-run rule.
Hanson will travel to take on Opelousas Catholic on today in non-district action.
