Gibson woman killed in one-vehicle wreck
Gibson, La. -- A Gibson woman died when the vehicle she was driving lost control and struck a tree in Terrebonne Parish about 6:30 a.m. Sunday, according to a Louisiana State Police news release.
The investigation revealed that a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado was traveling west on La. 182 just west of the Bayou Delight restaurant in Terrebonne Parish. The Colorado was being driven by Vickie Landry, 60, of Gibson, La. As the Colorado traveled west, the vehicle entered a slight left curve in the roadway.
