Gator Rigging defeats Russo's Accounting, 8-4

Gator Rigging defeated Russo’s Accounting, 8-4, in Dixie Youth baseball action in Bayou Vista on Monday.

Lucas Hatch contributed to the victory both on the mound and at the plate. He tossed three innings and surrendered four runs on five hits. He walked two and struck out four.

At the plate, he finished 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs.

Seth Giroir also finished 2-for-3 for Gator Rigging with an RBI and a run. Other hitters included Adam Askew, 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI and two runs, while Jesse Fontenot also finished 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI and a run.

Askew also pitched two innings and struck out five.

For Russo’s Kyle Boudreaux led the squad with a 1-for-2 performance with a triple, an RBI and a run; Ryan Hover, 1-for-1, a double, an RBI and a run; Reid Wiley, 1-for-2, two RBIs; Rustin Ratcliff, 1-for-3; and Mitchell Frederick, 1-for-1, two runs.

In the loss, Russo’s Accounting used three pitchers.

Boudreaux pitched two innings and surrendered a run on a hit and struck out two. Ratcliff also pitched two innings and surrendered five runs on three hits. He walked three and struck out two. Hover also pitched an inning and surrendered two runs on three hits and struck out two.

Gator Rigging 7,

TK Towing 4

Gregory Leger hit back-to-back home runs over the center field fence and drove in four as Gator Rigging defeated TK Towing, 7-4, in Dixie Youth action at the Bayou Vista Civic Center Thursday.

Leger finished 2-for-2 at the plate and also scored two runs.

Other Gator Rigging hitters included Giroir, 1-for-1 with a double, an RBI and a run; Fontenot, 1-for-2, an RBI; and Luke Lodrigue, 1-for-1.

Askew earned the win on the mound. In four innings, he surrendered four runs on two hits. He walked five and struck out five.

Global X-Ray 5,

Russo’s Accounting 4

Cade Thibodeaux recorded two hits at the plate and struck out four on the mound in Global X-Ray’s 5-4 victory against Russo’s Accounting Thursday in Bayou Vista.

Thibodeaux finished 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs.

On the mound, he pitched four innings and surrendered three runs on three hits. He walked one and struck out four.

Ian Valdez also pitched two innings and surrendered a run on two hits. He walked one and struck out two.

Other Global X-Ray hitters included Tristan McGonnigall, 2-for-2 with an RBI, while Patrick Robertson and Kyle Pitre each finished 1-for-2. Robertson scored two runs, while Pitre added a run.

In the loss, Boudreaux surrendered five runs on seven hits in four innings of work. He walked two and struck out six.

In an inning of work, Ratcliff struck out one.

Boudreaux lead Russo’s at the plate with a 2-for-3 performance with a run, while Ratcliff and Hover each finished 1-for-3 with Ratcliff adding two runs and Hover, two RBIs. Mitchell Frederick also finished 1-for-2 with a run.

Russo’s Accounting 8,

TK Towing 3

Ratcliff finished 4-for-4, driving in three in Russo’s Accounting’s 8-3 victory against TK Towing Wednesday in Bayou Vista.

Of his four hits, Ratcliff recorded two doubles and scored a run.

Frederick added a 3-for-4 performance with two RBIs, while Wiley added a 2-for-3 outing with an RBI. Other Russo’s hitters included Hover, 1-for-4, a double and a run; Cruiz Crawford, 1-for-2, two RBIs and a run; and Stephen Theriot, 1-for-2.

Hover earned the win for Russo’s. In six innings, he surrendered three runs on four hits. He walked two and struck out seven.

Christian Lewis led TK Towing in the loss with a 2-for-3 performance with a run.

On the mound, Barret Hover pitched three innings and surrendered three runs on six hits. He walked one and struck out three.

Caleb Bernard also pitched for TK Towing and surrendered five runs on six hits. He walked and struck out four a piece in two innings of work.

Johnny’s Propeller 8, Offshore Hammers 1

Johnny’s Propeller defeated Offshore Hammers, 8-1, in Morgan City Dixie League action Monday at Complex Park in Morgan City.

Jean Pat Dupuy finished 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs for Johnny’s, while Adam Blum finished 1-for-2 with a double, three RBIs and a run.

Other Johnny’s team members collecting hits included Ben Allen, 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI; Tyler O’con, 1-for-3, a double, two RBIs and a run; Dave Laubach, 1-for-2, a run; Makye Richard, two runs; and Zach Landry and Peter Washington, each a run.

Richard earned the win on the mound. In three innings, he allowed a run on a hit. He walked six and struck out five.

Allen also pitched an innings and struck out two of the four batters he faced.

For Hammers, Adam Dupuis finished 1-for-2, while Ashton Martinez added a run.

Skippers 10,

Morgan City Rentals 10

Skippers and Morgan City Rentals played to a 10-10 tie in Dixie League action Monday at Complex Park.

Thomas Mire led Skippers with a 3-for-3 performance with an RBI, while Kade Dupre finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run. Other Skippers’ hitters included Dylan Landry, 2-for-4, a triple, an RBI and two runs; Yahkeem Mosley, 2-for-4, two doubles, a run and an RBI; Dakota Lux, 2-for-4, a double and three runs; Travis Whitehead, 1-for-4, a double, two runs and two RBIs; and Kameron Francis, a run.

Jaybian Hartley led Morgan City Rentals with a 1-for-3 performance with an inside-the-park grand slam and two runs, while Cooper LeBlanc added a 1-for-3 outing with a run and two RBIs.

Other Morgan City Rentals’ hitters included Josh Sanford, 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run; Tucker Manual, 1-for-3, two runs; Brooks Thomas, a run and an RBI; and Greg Landry, Kimoni Hurts and Nick Peterson, a run apiece.
