Fundraiser for St. Jude Children Research Hospital

Wyandotte Elementary School collected more than $3,000 in a coin drive and raffle to raise money for St. Jude Children Research Hospital. Several businesses participated including Lapoint’s Cafe and Catering. Lapoint’s donated an ice cream party to the participating class that collected the most money during the coin drive. The winning class was that of Stephanie Doiron’s second grade homeroom class. Lapoint’s Cafe allowed the students and teacher to take a field trip in which they walked to Lapoint’s Cafe and received free ice cream.
