Dustin Fuselier won the annual 700 Club Tournament Saturday at Charlie’s Lanes. Fuselier, defeated Alberto Bochas, the winner of the loser’s bracket, 218-190, to win the event. Bochas would have had to beat Fuselier, the champion of the winner’s bracket, twice to win the event.

Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser

All teachers and staff at Maitland Elemetary School were challenged to wear pink every day in October or pay 25 cents. On Oct. 30, the students did a paint the school pink project during which they donated $1 to wear pink. All money raised will be donated to the local organization that supports breast cancer awareness.
